Midsummer Music

Three gigs over two days! Well, ok, so one of them was a "shake off the rust" semi-rehearsal. So maybe 2-1/2 gigs over 2 days is more accurate. But whatever.

Apart from the good reviews of the electric sets of Sgt Fury (playing a mix of covers - in our own inimical style - and originals - penned by yours truly and guitarist Paul, who founded Fury way back in 1988), we (that is, Paul and I) did something we have never done before - play an acoustic gig! (Actually, I think we did one waaay back somewhere near Newcastle, but I'm not counting that).

Surprisingly, it went quite well. Apart from inventing the set on the spot, and 90% of it jamming. Then again, our electric set is 90% jamming, so... But, it's nice to know we can do it.
