It's a little off the beaten path from rock'n'roll - but playing an acoustic (or semi-acoustic, as the case may be) is an interesting thing to do. Taking songs we do and adapting our arrangements to an acoustic environment is a bit of a thought process - and it broadens the mind to pick up songs we wouldn't normally consider, that we might incorporate into our electric set.

Adapting my own songs to acoustic isn't too much of a deal - I tend to write them on an acoustic guitar, and then figure out how they work with the volume and distortion up. Playing them acoustically is often just stripping them back to their roots.

Anyway, here's a sampling of a cover. We went out as "Willy & The Sarge" as an amalgam name - "Willy Muffin" + "Sgt. Fury". It fits.
